An NWS Service Change Notice (SCN) was recently disseminated announcing release of the update (Version 2) of its Impact-based Decision Support Services (IDSS) Service Description Document (SDD). IDSS SDDv2 incorporates revisions to better clarify how IDSS is currently being provided and to reflect internal documentation developed to drive consistency in IDSS services across NWS. This update also incorporates input from various stakeholder groups per feedback received during the May 9 – June 4, 2023 review period.A response to comments received and how they were addressed is available online.
