Science Journalist, Eli Kintisch, to visit HU- Beltsville Campus

On Tuesday, April 23, Mr. Eli Kintisch will be at HUBC to visit the site and interview some of the scientists.  Mr. Kintisch is a journalist who writes for several outlets, such as Science, Fox, and PBS. His book, Hack The Planet, received a starred review in Publisher’s Weekly.  As part of a Knight fellowship at MIT in 2011, he created a juried art exhibition to encourage climate-art partnerships and create public art around climate change. Currently, he is collecting material about the stratosphere research work, and he is interested of HUBC efforts in this matter (GRUAN, ozonesondes, LIDAR, etc.).  Drs. Dave Whiteman, Ricardo K. Sakai (HU/NCAS-M), Belay Demoz (UMBC/NCAS-M), and Anne Thompson (NASA) will host the visit.
