ARL Research Scientist Positions

The NOAA Air Resources Laboratory (ARL) has two open Research Physical Scientist positions!

ARL works to improve the ability of our Nation to protect human and ecosystem health and to support a vibrant economy through advanced atmospheric sciences and technologies. ARL’s scientific roots go back to 1948 with experiments to understand the lower atmosphere. Today, ARL is still focused on the atmospheric boundary layer and the short- and long-term physical and chemical processes that occur in that region.

The announcement referenced below will be used to fill a vacancy in Oak Ridge, TN and another in College Park, MD. These positions have a range of performance levels [ZP 3-4], meaning that early-career individuals are also eligible to apply.

This announcement closes on Thursday, December 16, 2021.
