The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies at Howard University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Research Scientist position in numerical modeling and data assimilation with a focus on atmospheric rivers, and/or tropical cyclones on all time scales. The position requires to assist with managing research activities of projects (e.g., research design, data collection, data analysis) and research products (e.g., writing, and presentations), supervising students, and developing new research directions and proposals within the scope of the group’s research thrusts.
