The Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (SEAFWA) has a special student workshop at its annual conference, upcoming Oct 26-28 2020. The conference will be virtual online.
The student workshop is provided by the Minorities in Natural Resources Conservation committee of SEWFWA.
During the workshop, students will:
- Explore inter-generational communication, using online platforms to find jobs, and tips and tricks for resume and cover letter writing
- Participate in a Careers in Conservation panel and break out rooms where they will gain insight on employment opportunities and network with professionals from SEAFWA’s sixteen member states, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and attending federal agencies
Minority students who have been traditionally underrepresented in the conservation profession can apply to attend the conference for free!
