OAR’s Air Resources Laboratory (ARL) College Park is seeking a Research Physical Scientist.
The position duties include the following:
- Lead the development of new capabilities in atmospheric turbulence and dispersion representation of atmospheric hazardous materials.
- Conduct research to understand and predict the turbulent mixing process in the boundary layer and seek to answer the novel or unique theories on atmospheric chemistry and composition on global to regional scales.
- Serve as a project manager who establishes and implements top-level strategy, objectives, and performance measures for assigned projects.
- Develop enhanced comprehensiveness of transport and dispersion models and the production of peer-reviewed scientific papers and assessments.
