The Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado is looking for an Associate Scientist or Post-Doctoral Associate to use observational data from the DOE’s Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) program to evaluate and help improve the representation of physical processes in NOAA weather/earth-system forecast models.
The position is part of the collaborative research between CIRES and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) Global Systems Laboratory (GSL) in Boulder, CO. The selectee will work within GSL’s Assimilation and Verification Division.
