Biography

Damian Emerson earned a BS in the department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) as a Cohort-1 NCAS-M Fellow.  Damian was interested in the NCAS-M focus area — Focus area 2 in support of the NCAS-M theme 2. Recent research experience involved the modelling ozone and particulate matter data over the MD area. This was a NOAA collaboration with the Joint Center for Earths Systems and Technology (JCET) at UMBC under the guidance of Dr. Belay Demoz.
